Maciel v. Vance Uniformed Protective Services, Inc./Garda Security, Inc.


Plaintiff brings this action on behalf of herself and those similarly situated alleging Vance/Garda requires security guards to maintain required uniforms without compensation, requires security guards to attend training without compensation and requires security guards to work through meal periods and arrive early for shifts without receiving compensation. The Court granted final approval of a $2,500,000 class action settlement.
